New Model

Dec 2011 – Tomcar introduces the TM47 MB search and rescue platform. The model is based on the 4 seater vehicle and used to transport wounded personnel from hard to reach areas while providing unparalleled stability and speed. The model is equipped with quick stretcher loading and securing, full onboard medical equipment and easy access to the wounded by medical personnel.

Bangalore India

August 2011 – Maini group acquires majority ownership in Tomcar. One of Maini Group companies, Maini Materials Movement Pvt Ltd will manufacture and market the Tomcar products in India.

Tomcar recently was successful in helping Red Bull build the off-road Rampage course in Virgin, Utah.

October 2010 – The Reb Bull Rampage took place in Virgin Utah and was a great success. Red Bull called and we were there to help with preparing the grounds and transportation of staff and equipment.[more]

All TOMCAR models completely updated.

April 2010 – We've completely upgraded all models. All three models TM2, TM4, and TM5, are now either powered by a new Delphi Fuel -injected "Z" 1052cc four-cylinder gasoline engine or the 1372cc Kohler/Lombardini Diesel engine, which is now the most powerful diesel engine in its class! In addition Tomcar vehicles now all have Hydraulic Disc Brakes all-around controlled by a separate hydraulic system for front and rear brakes. This separate disc brake system ensures back-up and reliability in any situation. The electrical system has been totally redone, with an extreme automotive-type of waterproof chassis wiring harness and a sealed fuse box to make it reliable in extreme use. Last, all Tomcar models have now been upgraded with alloy wheels as standard.

NEW - The G-Nuis Guardium-LS vehicle, built upon the TOMCAR® platform, featured in "Defense Technology International".
